Great news from low-cost airline Air Arabia which is launching four new routes this year. They have recognised that Agadir is the perfect winter sunshine destination, and will be launching new twice-weekly flights from both Dublin and Manchester direct to the seaside town from October 2017. Flying time from Dublin is approximately 3 hours 55 mins, and 3 hours 45 mins from Manchester, with prices from £34.
For those headed for Fez, Air Arabia has also launched a weekly flight to this historic city direct from Gatwick, increasing to twice-weekly from October. With flying time at 3 hours 20 mins, enter via the new terminal at Fez airport and explore the world’s largest pedestrianised zone in the ancient Medina. One-way flights from £39.
Ryanair offers a twice-weekly service from London Stansted, flying time 3 hours 20 minutes, seats from £24.99 one way.
Air Arabia’s fourth new route is a direct flight between Marrakech and LGW which will operate twice-weekly from November, perfect for some winter warmth or an exotic getaway at any time of year. Other carriers include Thomson, Easyjet, BA and Ryanair which means that Marrakech is by far the best-served airport for travellers out of the UK.
Don’t forget Casablanca though – Morocco’s business capital also acts as the gateway to Africa and can be reached from the UK with direct flights from LGW, giving access to a whole host of destinations across the continent.
